Our Vision

To assist our residents to live clean, sober, mentally stable and healthy lives in their own residence. We are committed to and affirm our dedication to assisting, motivating, empowering, and serving the needs of our residents, with services that address the immediate needs of those seeking recovery from drugs, alcohol abuse, and mental health disabilities.

As we move forward in securing additional self-sustaining multifamily and SRO units to house men, women and women with children who are seeking support from a life of addiction, poverty and homelessness. We are confident that by addressing the basic needs of food, structure housing, and clothing, combined with supportive wrap around services, we can improve the quality of life all that choose for their quest to start here with us.

“Rock Street Revitalization Project”

Phase I consists of 12 multifamily units totally renovated in December 2008 with funding provided by Atlanta Development Authority (ADA), Homeless Opportunity Fund (HOF) and  conventional financing for a total of 1.2 million (predevelopment, acquisition and rehab). Subsidies provided by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) via HUD’s Shelter Plus Care Program.

Phase II consists of 8 multifamily units totally renovated in November 2009 with funding provided by Atlanta Development Authority (ADA), Vine City Trust Fund and conventional financing for a total of $605,000.00 (predevelopment, acquisition and rehab). Subsidies provided by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) via HUD’s Shelter Plus Care Program.

Phase III consists of a new construction Administrative/Residents Resource Center.   Funding for new construction was provided by the Atlanta Development Authority (ADA) Westside TAD Allocation Neighborhood Fund in the amount $584,000.00. Quest core resource and services offered is Workforce Development, Substance Abuse and Mental Health group counseling.

Final Phase IV consisting of  one (1) abandon and blight 12 unit apartment building and two (2) empty lots adjacent to the 12 unit property. The scope of work is acquisition and Newhab of the 12-2br unit apartment building as affordable housing for Veterans. This project will also have additional dedicated green space and a small sitting park.  Funding provided by City of Atlanta, CHDO in the amount of $280,000.00 and Department of Community Affairs (DCA) $750,000.00.

Final Phase V – Coming Soon! plans are for acquisition of 5 Parcels, consisting of 5 abandon and blight single family houses located on Rock St.  Proposed project consist of a newly constructed gated community of 25 one bedroom garden style apartments two story wood frame construction residential building. Funding for predevelopment is provided by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA).  Acquisition, Demolition and New Construction targeted funding is with DCA’s PSHP Housing Fund combine with State CHDO funding opportunities for FY 2010 and 2011.
